AuthorBytes is pleased to announce that our new portal is now operational!

This new portal replaces the AuthorBytes Client Center. Our goal is to create the best possible experience for you, and the new portal will help us meet that objective. Customer Support, Billing, Project Management, and more will all be available to clients 24/7 in the portal.
If you haven’t already gotten an invite to the portal, contact AuthorBytes Support and ask for a portal invite email. Follow the instructions in the email to set your password and be immediately logged into the new portal.
The following features are available today (more in the next few weeks):
My Billing
You can easily view new invoices, payments, and estimates, as well as update your payment method. For security reasons, no payment information was transferred from our Client Center to the new portal. You’ll need to update your payment info in the portal or call us at 617-492-0442 Opt 3 during normal business hours (9:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM ET) and we will be happy to assist you.
Important! To avoid any disruptions in service and prevent lapses in domain renewal, we recommend you update your payment method as soon as possible, even if you don’t have an open invoice for domain renewal.
My Support Tickets
Support via email is difficult to manage on our end. That’s why we’ve revamped our support process to use a brand new ticketing system that helps us help you. Today, we have a general form you can fill out to submit your support requests. In the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out specialized forms specific to common requests, such as adding a new book, requesting domain authentication, DNS changes, ordering new domains, etc. Communication lives inside the portal, but we’ll still automatically send you an email notification (or soon an alert on your phone, if you wish) to let you know that there is a reply to your ticket needing your review.
My Projects
For new AuthorBytes website projects, we now have a dashboard that displays your current project status, a client task list that lets you know what we need from you, and the ability to upload photos and other files directly through the portal to our production team. Project sign off forms are also now managed through the portal.
