AuthorBytes is pleased to announce that our new portal is now available!

Here is the short version:

  • The AuthorBytes Portal replaces the AuthorBytes Client Center.
  • All clients will need to activate their new portal account even if they already had a login on Client Center.
  • All clients will need to update their payment method on file via the portal or by calling 617-492-0442 Opt 3.

The longer story:

This new portal replaces the AuthorBytes Client Center which has now been retired. Our goal is to create the best possible agency experience for our author clients and the new portal will help us meet that objective. Customer Support, Billing, Project Management and more will all be available to clients 24/7 in the portal.

If you haven’t already gotten an invite to the portal, simply contact AuthorBytes Support and ask to receive a portal invite. Once you receive your invite, simply follow the instructions in the email to set your password and be immediately logged in to the new portal.

My Billing

Clients can easily view new invoices, payments, and estimates as well as update their payment method. For security reasons, we are unable to migrate your payment information from Client Center to the new portal so you will need to update that on your own in the portal or call us at 617-492-0442 Opt 3 during normal business hours and we will be happy to assist you. To avoid any disruptions in service and prevent lapses in domain renewal, we recommend you update your payment method as soon as possible even if you don’t have an open invoice.

My Support Tickets

Email can be a nightmare, trust us we know! That’s why we’ve revamped our support process to use a brand new ticketing system that helps us help you. Today we have a general form you can fill out to submit your support requests. In the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out specialized forms specific to common requests. These forms have fields to enter additional information to help us complete your request such as adding a new book, requesting domain authentication, DNS changes, ordering new domains, etc. Communication lives inside the portal, but we’ll still automatically send you an email notification (or soon an alert on your phone) to let you know that there is a reply to your ticket needing your review.

My Projects

When engaging with AuthorBytes on a new website project, we now have a customer facing dashboard that shows your current project status, a client task list that lets you know what we need from you, and the ability to upload photos and other files directly through the portal to our production team. Project sign off forms are also now managed through the portal.
