Steve also brings to AuthorBytes his experience as a journalist who has contributed feature articles on business and technology to numerous publications; as a producer for the Family Education Network; and as a media trainer who has helped hundreds of technology companies develop and deliver effective messages to their most important audiences. Steve personally works with each AuthorBytes’ client to develop a long-term strategy for creating and leveraging a strong online presence. He also directs a group of designers who have extensive experience in creating innovative custom sites. Steve matches designers to projects on the basis of the client’s genre, style, and web aesthetics.
Chief Technical Officer Ken Wiesner has more than 19 years of experience managing network operations, developing database technology, and creating back-end solutions for websites. Ken also has domain knowledge of mobile applications and keeps AuthorBytes on the cutting edge of technology.
Peter Martin, Director of Production, oversees the daily development of clients’ sites, taking projects from finished design to draft sites ready for deployment. An expert in WordPress technology, Peter brings a unique confluence of site development and fine art skills to team AuthorBytes.
Editorial Director and WordPress trainer Laura Spinella is both a staff member and a client. Laura is also a two-time RITA finalist. A marketing professional by training, she’s successfully used social media to build a 200,000+ following for her own work, which includes the bestselling Broken Places and the multi award-winning Broken Pieces. Rachel consults with AuthorBytes’ clients on a variety of social media initiatives ranging from strategy development to sustained channel building.
J.P. Thompson, AuthorBytes’ Director of Online Book Advertising, is highly skilled at promoting authors’ work through Facebook, YouTube, and other online advertising channels.
